HSTA member Karen Willard and her husband  - and he's NOT John Baker! :-)
Karen and her husband Roy were visiting Florida from NY and joined up with Florida members John Baker, Bill Royal and Eve Blazsur (in picture on right) and Henry Custer (behind Eve on right), for a tour around Central Florida on a cool but sunny afternoon.

1953 version of 'Off Road' riding
Back before the earth cooled, riding 'dualsport' with the 1929 NSU in West Germany. Tent camping in the forest. This morning I peered out of the tent to see a small brown bear looking back at me. Don't know who was more apprehensive, but I'm the one who sat quietly inside until he left!

Silverton Trails
Riding the 'high county' out of Silverton, Colorado. At about 12000 feet elevation, the ranchers haul their sheep up to a hundred miles to lease grazing rights from the government for the six weeks grazing period. This picture was taken in the early seventies, the trails remain the same, only the sheep have been changed.

tennesseecamp.jpg Tennessee Camping
'STAR' bound with my '78 Wing. Overnight camp somewhere in Tennessee on the way to Nashville, Indiana for an annual 'Sport Touring Association Rendezvous'.
avonbound.jpg Avon Bound
'STAR' bound once more, this time with my '95 PC. Just north of Leadville, Colorado, headed for the annual 'Sport Touring Association Rendezvous', this year in Avon, Colorado! Yipeeee!!
daytonalunch00.jpgdaytonalunch3-9-00.jpg Daytona Lunch Ride
March 9th,2000, in the middle of Bike week at Daytona, Phil Ridgdill sponsored this lunch ride from Daytona over to Astor Park for lunch at the Blackwater Inn. As you can see, we had a good turnout and a great visit while taking a break from the frantic pace in Daytona. Pictures courtesy of Phil.
mikedonlin.jpg Mike Donlin with his brand new Kawasaki Voyager. We met with Mike at this rest area on I-75 north of Tampa for the lunch ride to Mt Dora, Florida Nov 2000.
mtdoralunch11-00.jpg Mt Dora Lunch
This fine group gathered in Mt Dora Nov 10, 2000 for lunch at the Mexican restaurant here. I see Sid Spann in the foreground, not yet a HSTA member, but hopefully soon. Next, right to left, Tom Roe, Dick Burdick, Francis and Chuck Headrick, with Geary Allison in the rear. Great ride, with 15 members in attendance.
sidspann.jpg Sid Spann of Ruskin, Florida with his beautiful Suzuki cruiser, shown here on the way to the Mt Dora lunch Nov 2000. As a reminder, the HSTA welcomes riders on all brands of bikes. And isn't this Marauder a beauty!
